fat tuesday...

between mardi gras parade and fat tuesday we're about done...stick us with a fork...we can't take much more...it's not easy being a christian these days...all this partying and now 40 days and 40 nights of penance...maybe this season we'll just sleep it off like the disciples did in the garden...wow, we are better then we thought...we are the true disciples...at least of the almighty nap!

winnie is my favorite sister! and has been for years and years, more then she cares to admit but it seems like only yesterday...she truly is a wonderful person, a loving wife and fantastic mom. she's a person who is always there for the people she loves; her heart is always in the right place. winnie is a sensitive, caring, and outgoing friend that you can count on to be there any time of the day. she is the sister that everyone would love to have and i know i am the fortumate one to have her as mine. i am proud to have her as my sister...

does this mean the vatican will hold clearance sales on encyclicals???

a couple of weeks ago npr reported that our holy eminence pope benedict had just come out with his first encyclical and is putting into effect copyright laws on his encyclicals. so, if you quote any part of his encyclicals the Vatican will be charging you…it’s how the Vatican makes money! The reporter did question the belief that if the pope is the high voice in the church and a direct voice from god did this then mean that god was now charging for his words?

let it be said that I will not be charging for my encyclicals, they are free of any charges. so, you may copy them and write them as much as you like, in fact, work ahead like we did in grade school and do it 50 times on wide rule paper…of course, now I need to come up with some quotable entries. in any case, stay tuned for the free “encyclicals of ms”

what can i say - jealousy is a terrible thing

i just went to this website where you put in your picture and they tell what celebrity you look like or what celebrity looks like you! well, you guessed it... my #1 pick was diana princess of wales. now, of course, there were others i look like as well... brad pritt, sean penn, and audrey tautou...whoever the hell she is...but, we are not going to think about them.

It's all about diana.
