Those Scavengers...

"Some thieves are brazen, with much of the scavenging occurring in broad daylight. Last weekend, residents living near Harter Avenue, on the north side of Highway 40, said they saw people in orange vests canvassing the vacant properties with metal detectors, possibly searching for copper and aluminum. They've seen others pull up with shovels and drive off with flowers and shrubs." Now, bricks are another matter!
