Traditional Easter Monkey...
The Story of the Traditional Easter Monkey unlike Santa Clause, who has Dancer, Prancer, Rudolph & the gang, the Easter Bunny has to travel alone. Just imagine how difficult it is for the Easter Bunny to deliver all his Easter eggs since he has just as much ground to cover as good old St. Nick but no sleigh or reindeers to help out.One of the toughest areas to get to was the jungles of the Congo. One day, the Easter Bunny was doing a fundraiser for Easter Seals with Curious George. George was curious why many of his friends in the Congo weren't getting their Easter eggs. When the Easter Bunny explained the problem, George said "Hey, maybe I can help you out." Curious George's sister was dating the 70s cartoon icon Grape Ape, whose cousin used to hang out with Lance Link-Secret Chimp, who was pals with Chim Chim, the monkey that pals around with Speed Racer's little brother Spritle. Chim Chim had a friend whose brother's girlfriend's second cousin just got laid off from the banana factory in the Congo because he was eating all the profits, so he needed a job. The Easter Bunny got his number, gave him a call, and said, "Hey, I could really use your help. I'm having trouble getting my eggs to the Congo & if you're willing to help I'll hire you to deliver my Easter eggs." The Easter Bunny knew he could trust the monkey because he was fired for eating bananas, not eggs! And the monkey happily accepted the job, since no one in the Congo wanted to hire a banana thief. When Easter rolled around, sure enough, everyone in the Congo had their Easter eggs on time! The Easter Bunny was thrilled that for the first time he got no complaints from the Congo. He called the monkey and said, "You did a great job!!! I'm so proud of you for getting all those eggs delivered on time. You know, I was so excited to hire you that I never caught your name." And the monkey replied, "Just call me The Easter Monkey!"
